Using Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Whole Grain Tortillas



I have found myself scouring grocery isles in search of a minimal ingredient, a seed-oil-free cracker, with no success. From here, I discovered my favorite tortillas, Food For Life’s 4:9 Ezekiel Sprouted Whole Grain Tortillas, can be transformed into crackers within minutes! Next time you are in need of a quality ingredient cracker, take less than 10 minutes to make these delicious sprouted grain crackers.
Ingredients
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 4:9 Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut tortilla into square pieces.
Toss in avocado oil so both sides are lightly coated.
Place on a baking tray in the oven for 3–5 minutes until golden. Turn pan half-way through cooking to ensure crackers are cooked evenly. Remove crackers from pan immediately to avoid overcooking.
Season with sea salt and any other desired seasonings & enjoy!

Health Benefits
Avocado oil has a higher smoke point than olive oil, therefore it is best to use when cooking at higher temperatures. Avocado oil is additionally a good source of monounsaturated fats.
