Refreshing, Crisp Fall Flavors

INTRO
In the transition from summer to fall, the spirit of fall often arrives far before the weather emulates it. Living in Arizona and still enduring 100 degree weather in October, this cinnamon apple smoothie delivers crisp fall flavors in a refreshing way.
INGREDIENTS
1 thinly sliced apple – frozen
2 spoonfuls yogurt (I use Harmless Harvest unsweetened cultured coconut yogurt)
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp chia seed
1 tbsp hemp seed
1 tbsp raw honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 to 1 cup of milk (depending on desired consistency) (I use Mooala simple almond milk)
INSTRUCTIONS
Thinly slice 1 whole apple and place in the freezer for 3 hours or overnight.
Blend frozen apple slices, yogurt, almond butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, raw honey, cinnamon and milk until smooth.
Top with more cinnamon & enjoy!
